We listen to the readings from the Bible. the readings remind us of God's saving love and of His promise to send a Messiah. They also remind us of all the good things God has done for us. We respond by singing psalms about God.
The Apostles must have been sad and frightened after the death of Jesus. To forget their sadness and fear, they must have exchanged stories about things Jesus told them in the past. They must have sung psalms, too; to keep their spirits up.

Pope John XXIII wrote a very important encyclical entitled Peace on Earth. In this encyclical, Pope John summarized Jesus' teachings about God's Kingdom to help us know that human beings have rights. When these rights are being violated, the Kingdom of God is failing.
Below are the human rights taught in the encyclical.
These rights are gifts from our loving Father.
These rights belong to all of us. We can start putting them into action in our homes, in our classroom and in our communities. We can begin doing them through the way we treat our family, classmates, neighbors and even people we don't know.

These are the Sundays when nothing else is scheduled. The season consists of two in-between periods. One is a short period between the Christmas season and the beginning of Lent. The other is the long period between the Eastern season and the first Sunday in Advent. The Sundays of the Year. During this season, the Holy Spirit helps us to remember that ordinary days are important, too.

Fossils
Hey guy's Don't you know that a Fossil- is any evidence of a living thing of the past. You know that Fossils show as what the animals and plants of long ago were like. They are usually found in deep mines and in sedimentary rocks. They are also found in the banks of rivers and streams and in cliffs along the ocean floor.
A fossil may be an imprint of a living thing or a footprint of an animal. The imprint is made when a dead plant or animal falls into soft sediment. When the sediment hardens into a rock, the shape of the plant or animal is preserved in it. An animal may leave its footprint in the mud. Water may cover the footprint with sediment. When the sediment hardens into a rock, the footprint is preserved. Isn't it?

A climate mangles a rush myth. Every year Jesus' parents went to Jerusalem for Passover. And when Jesus was twelve years old, they all went there as usual for the celebration. After Passover his parents left, but they did not know that Jesus had stayed on in the city. They thought he was travelling with some other people, and they went a whole day before they started looking for him. When they could not find him with their relatives and friends, they went back to Jerusalem and started looking for him there.
Three days later they found Jesus sitting in the temple, listening to the teachers ad asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was surprised at how much he knew and the answers he gave.
When his parents found him, they were amazed. His mother said, "Son, why have you done this to us? Your father and I would be in my Father's house?" But they did not understand what he meant.
Jesus went back to Nazareth with his parent's and obeyed them. His mother kept on thinking about all that had happened.
Jesus became wise, and he grew strong. God was pleased with him and so were the people.
