Abraham is a Man of Faith. God sees him as just and good man becauser he always has faith in Him. And God Blesses him.
Abraham is not chosen for himself alone but for the sake of nations. It is through him and his descendants that God's intends to bring to the world what it needs. It is through Abraham's descendants that God's Blessing will come upon man... in you all peoples of the earth will be blessed (Genesis 12:3)
Someone cares enough for me,
To send me something special
I feel I'm kind of V-I-P
To earn such sweet attention.
The gift is wrapped in grass and sky,
It's ribboned with rivers and seas,
Its decors are all living things
Like flowers, birds and trees
It comes in many colors
With all kinds of shades and hues,
What could this wondrous gift be,
Just look around - you'll see!

God the Father loves you because you love me, and you believe that I have come from him. I came from the Father into the World, but I am leaving the World and returning to the Father.
don't be worried! Have Faith in God and have faith in me. There are many rooms in my Fathers house. I am going there to prepare a place to each for you. After I have done this, I will come back and take you with me. Then we will be together.
I am the way, the truth, and the life, ! Without me, no one can go to the Father.
I tell you for certain that if you have faith in me, you will do the same things that I am doing. You will do even greater things, now that I am going back to the father.
When the time comes, the Father will give you whatever you ask for in my name. You have not asked for anything in this way before, but now you must ask in my name.

In the beginning was the one who is called the Word. The Word was with God and was truly God.
From the very beginning the Word was with God. and with this Word, created all things.
Nothing was made without the Word.
Everything that was created received its life from him, and his life gave light to everyone.
The light keeps shining in the dark, and darkness has never put it out.
The Word was in the world, but no one know him, though God had made the world with his Word.
He came into his own world, but his own nation did not welcome him.
Yet some people accepted him and put their faith in him.
So he gave them the right to be the children of God.
They were not God's children by nature or because of any human desires.
God himself was the one who made his children.
THE WORD BECAME A HUMAN BEING AND LIVED HERE WITH US.
We saw his true glory,of the only Son of the Father.
From him the complete gifts of undeserved grace and truth have come down to us.
Because of all that the Son is, we have been given one blessing after another: Jesus Christ brought us undeserved kindness and truth. No one has ever seen God. The only Son, who is truly God and is closest to the Father, has shown us what God is like.

God Loves Us. Picture in your mind all the ways you can make God love you more. Go ahead. Think about it. What do you come up with?
The truth is you can think all day, but there is not one thing you can do to make God your Creator love you more. That's because he can't love you anymore than he already does. He love you with a forever love. It's a love that goes way beyond any Love you could ever imagine or hope for. If you haven't already, turn to get to know his love for yourself.

The Old Testament tells of God's relationship or covenant with His people. It contains the story of why humankind needs salvation and what God did to prepare for the final act of salvation.
In the Old Testament, the concepts of hope runs throughout. There are prophecies in the historical books and history in the prophetic and doctrinal books. Doctrine is found in all the books of the old testament.
The New Testament tells of a new relationship which Jesus established between God and the people. Testament is a direct translation of the Latin word for covenant.
The four gospel are apostolic witnesses and interpretations of the words and deeds of Jesus.
The acts of the Apostle were written by St. Luke. It contains the story of the missionary activity and growth of the early Church as well as the missionary journeys of St. Paul.
The Epistles of St. Paul were written to individuals and Churches in answer to particular problems. They give an insight into the gradual development of the theology of the new Testament.
The Catholic Epistles are called such because of their universal destination. They will not written to console the early Christians at a time when they are being persecuted. It tells of the ultimate victory of the Kingdom of God.
The New Testament contains the fullness of revelation that was brought by Jesus.
The word was made flesh and dwelt among us in the fullness of grace and truth''(John 1:14).
'' To these realities, the writings of the New Testament stand as a perpetual and divine witness''(Vat. 11, Revelation 17).

Paul's teaching. You have followed closely my teaching and my conduct. You have observed my resolution, fidelity, patience, love and endurance through persecutions and sufferings.... You for your part must remain faithful to what you have learned and believed, because you know who your teachers were.
Likewise, from your infancy, you have known the sacred scriptures, the source of the wisdom which, through faith in Jesus Christ, leads to salvation.
Here guy's all scriptures is inspired of God and is useful for teaching for reproof, correction, and training in holiness so that the man of God maybe fully competent and equipped for every good work.
Let us go to our church teaching:
For Vatican 11, Divine Revelation( Dei Verbum), no. 9
These Sacred tradition and sacred scripture, then, are bound closely together, and communicate one with the other. for both of them ,flowing out from the same divine well-spring come together in some fashion to form one thing to move towards the same goal. Sacred scripture is the speech of God as it is put down in writing under the breath of the holy Spirit. And tradition transmits in its entirely the Word of God which has been entrusted to the Apostle by Christ the Lord and the Holy Spirit. It transmits it to the successors of the Apostle so that, enlightened by the Spirit of Truth, they may faithfully preserve, express and spread it abroad by their preaching. Thus it comes about that the Church does not draw her certainty about all revealed truths from the Holy Scriptures alone. Here, both Scripture and Tradition must be accepted and honored with equal feelings of devotion and reverence.

One day as Justine was talking with a group of learned men, questioning his life, his future the reason for the existence of the world itself, an old man in the group suddenly spoke up.'' Justine , you will find the answers to your questions in the Word of God ''.
''I know all the gods'', answered Justin.'' I know the Greek gods, the Roman Gods, the Indian gods, and even the Chinese gods, but not one of them offers the true answer I seek.''
''You do not know the God of Abraham , the God of Moses; you do not know the Son of God, Jesus Christ, '' said the older man .
'' Where shall I find this God of yours?'' Justin asked.
'' You must read the Word of God as set down in the Holy Bible. I shall let you read mine if you wish.''
Justin became a great student of the Holy Bible and was soon converted to Christianity. Here, indeed, he found the answers to all his questions. At last he know Why he was created and where He would go for all eternity.
suddenly Justin became a teacher. He traveled to many places . Everywhere He went, he argued with Pagans and others, convincing them of the true Christian doctrines.
At the time there was no freedom of religion in Rome. Justin fought against the persecution of Christians. But the emperor was afraid that the kingdom hailed by the Christians would have a king more powerful than He was. A time came when Justin was brought before the Emperor, accused unjustly, and condemned wrongly as a traitor to the state.
He was scourged as Jesus had been hundred years before. Then He was beheaded. His dying words ring out as true today as they did eighteen hundred years ago.'' We desire only one thing; to suffer torment for Jesus and thus attain happiness''.
The death of St. Justin 165 A.D. is remembered in the church calendar every year of June first. If Justin is your patron saint, look to him on that special day and be inspired by his greatness.

1. What is Divine Revelation?
"Our Lord does not look so much at the greatness of our actions, nor even at their difficulty, but at the love with which we do them."
This was the idea that Therese taught her charges when she served as novice mistress. For Therese, to answer uncomplainingly a call which interrupted her work or play, to be sociable when she preferred to be alone, to be kind and charitable in all things to those whom she wanted to avoid, to be detached from those whose company she preferred - these seemed to be the only gift she could give God. The act of self-denial was her "little way" of showing her love of God. Even when she was still very young, she did kind deeds for everyone. She prepared for her First Communion by making many little sacrifice. She explained this "little way"by comparing deeds to flowers. "The world of souls is Jesus' garden,"she said. "Some flowers like lilies and roses are grandiose;others like daisies and violets are small ones. But all give joy to God."
Therese stated,"Jesus deigned to teach me this mystery. He set before me the book of nature. I understood how all the flowers He has created are beautiful, how the splendor of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not take away the perfume of the little violet or the delightful simplicity of the daisy. I understood that if all the flowers wanted to be rose, nature would lose her springtime beauty, and the fields would no longer be checked out with little wild flowers."
Then she added, "Perfection consists in doing His Will, in being what He wills us to be."
Therese's entrance to the Carmelite convent was delayed by several obstacles, the greatest of which was her young age. Therese accepted the delay and learned a great lesson in patience.
Therese wanted to save souls and to help priest save souls by prayer, sacrifice and suffering. Shortly before her death, her mission became clear to her. She said,"...I feel that my mission is... to make others love God as I do, to teach others my little way. I want to spend my Heaven in doing good upon earth..."
During her canonization, Pope Pius XI stated, "Without going beyond the common order of things in her way of life, she followed out and fulfilled her vocation with such alacrity, generosity and constancy that she reached a heroic degree of virtue."

As our ancestor responded in faith to God's love e, so too, must we be ready to show Him our love and faith. Faith and love are shown not in mere knowledge of doctrines, but in concrete action. We respond to God's love by showing love for our fellowmen.
We are responding to Gods love when we do the following:
1. follow rules and regulations at home, in school, at church, and in the community.
2. Use our leadership to help our friends hear holy Mass and follow rules in the school and in the community.
3. Study our faith.
4. Share what we believe by participating in class if you are studying and in our community activities, asking our answering questions, or joining in discussions.
5. Have a friendly smile for everyone specially those who look sad and depressed.
6.Give of our time and our talent or skill.
7. Give a helping hand to those who need help.
8. uphold the dignity of others by showing them respect and by being fair and honest with them.
Remember brothers and sisters this service that we do reminds people to be Faithfull to the christian duty of caring for others.
The respect and love we show for our fellowmen uphold their human dignity. Through our respect, love, and service we keep the gift of faith alive in ourselves, in others, in the church, and in the whole world.

God makes His very self known by revelation. Therefore, our acceptance of revelation is acceptance of God Himself. This acceptance of God is known faith.
Because of our faith we commit our whole self to God.
Faith is a free act. It is not forced upon us. It is an act of free and willing union with God Who has revealed Himself.
To bring joy and ease to the act of faith, the Holy Spirit comes to us. The gifts of the Holy Spirit bring the person of faith to a deeper understanding of revelation. This deeper understanding takes place in the individual and in the community. It forms part of the tradition through which revelation is handed on.
We respond to God's revelation by offering to Him full submission of our intellect and will.

God reveals Himself in deeds and words.God can be known through what He has created. The greatest, beauty, and order of creation stand as witnesses to God for all of us to see. St. Paul teaches:(Since the creation of the world, invisible realities--God's eternal power and divinity--have come visible, recognized through the things He has made.)(Romans 1:20).
God reveals Himself also through Biblical signs--through the covenants with Noah and Moses and through the prophets. He reveals Himself as a living and true God who takes care of His people and Who treat them with justice.("Through the patriarchs, and through Moses and the prophets He taught this nation to acknowledge Himself as the one living and true God,provident Father and just Judge. He also told them to wait for the savior that He had promised. In this manner He prepared the way for the Gospel down through the centuries")(Vat. II, Revelation, 3.)
The coming of Jesus perfected and completed the revelation through Jesus' words and deeds, His signs and miracles, His death and Resurrection, and the descent of the Spirit of Truth. Moreover, He confirmed with divine testimony what revelation proclaimed: that God is with us to free us from the darkness of sin and death, and the raise us up to life eternal (Vat. II, Revelation 4),"For He sent His son, the eternal Word, who enlightens all men,so that He might dwell among men and tell them the innermost realities about God (John 1:1-18)

Hi to all Pls add my link .This is my new blog .Thanks for linking and visiting .
God reveals Himself through deeds and words that we may be led to Everlasting life.
1. By natural reason man can know God with certainty, on the basis of His words. But there is another order of knowledge which man cannot possibly arrive at by his own powers: the order of divine Revelation. Through an utterly free decision, God has revealed Himself and gives Himself and gives Himself to man. This He does by revealing the mystery, His plan of loving goodness, formed from all eternity in Christ, for the benefit of all men. God has fully revealed this plan by sending us His beloved Son,our Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
2. Vatican II, Divine Revelation
By divine Revelation God wished to manifest and communicate both Himself and the eternal decrees of His will concerning the salvation of mankind. He wished, in other words," to share with us divine benefits which entirely surpass the powers of the human mind to understand."
3. Catechism for Filipino Catholics
...Filipino Catholics experience God's Self-Revelation today. First, God shows Himself in the natural signs of the beauty and abundance of our natural resource and our rich Filipino culture. Second, the biblical signs in God's inspired Word in Scripture, reveal Him. Third, though the Church's liturgical signs we encounter the Risen Christ in the Sacraments. Finally, God makes Himself known to us through the ecclesial signs of the Church's proclamation of the Creed and in Her moral teachings and commitment to service.

The study of Religion helps us to live fully and grow in our Christian faith.God is the Supreme Being, He is powerful, yet merciful, just and loving.
Let us Purify our hearts, then, and do not be defiant towards Yahweh because Yahweh is the God of gods and he Lord of lords. He is the great God, the strong and mighty God.
When He judges, He treats everyone equally; He does not let Himself be bought by gifts. He renders justice to the orphans and widows, and loves the stranger who gives Him bread and clothing.
Love the Stranger, then, because you, yourselves, were strangers in the land of Egypt. Fear Yahweh your God,serve Him, follow Him, and call on His name when you have to make an oath. Praise Him because He is our God, who has done those amazing things for us.
When we went down to Egypt, our ancestors were no more than seventy persons; but,, now, Yahweh, our God, has made us as many as the stars of heaven.
