Jesus Comforts and Encourages

God the Father loves you because you love me, and you believe that I have come from him. I came from the Father into the World, but I am leaving the World and returning to the Father.

don't be worried! Have Faith in God and have faith in me. There are many rooms in my Fathers house. I am going there to prepare a place to each for you. After I have done this, I will come back and take you with me. Then we will be together.

I am the way, the truth, and the life, ! Without me, no one can go to the Father.

I tell you for certain that if you have faith in me, you will do the same things that I am doing. You will do even greater things, now that I am going back to the father.

When the time comes, the Father will give you whatever you ask for in my name. You have not asked for anything in this way before, but now you must ask in my name.

The Word of Life

In the beginning was the one who is called the Word. The Word was with God and was truly God.

From the very beginning the Word was with God. and with this Word, created all things.

Nothing was made without the Word.

Everything that was created received its life from him, and his life gave light to everyone.

The light keeps shining in the dark, and darkness has never put it out.

The Word was in the world, but no one know him, though God had made the world with his Word.

He came into his own world, but his own nation did not welcome him.

Yet some people accepted him and put their faith in him.
So he gave them the right to be the children of God.
They were not God's children by nature or because of any human desires.
God himself was the one who made his children.

THE WORD BECAME A HUMAN BEING AND LIVED HERE WITH US.
We saw his true glory,of the only Son of the Father.

From him the complete gifts of undeserved grace and truth have come down to us.

Because of all that the Son is, we have been given one blessing after another: Jesus Christ brought us undeserved kindness and truth. No one has ever seen God. The only Son, who is truly God and is closest to the Father, has shown us what God is like.

God Loves Us. Picture in your mind all the ways you can make God love you more. Go ahead. Think about it. What do you come up with?

The truth is you can think all day, but there is not one thing you can do to make God your Creator love you more. That's because he can't love you anymore than he already does. He love you with a forever love. It's a love that goes way beyond any Love you could ever imagine or hope for. If you haven't already, turn to get to know his love for yourself.

Bible

The Old Testament tells of God's relationship or covenant with His people. It contains the story of why humankind needs salvation and what God did to prepare for the final act of salvation.

In the Old Testament, the concepts of hope runs throughout. There are prophecies in the historical books and history in the prophetic and doctrinal books. Doctrine is found in all the books of the old testament.

The New Testament tells of a new relationship which Jesus established between God and the people. Testament is a direct translation of the Latin word for covenant.
The four gospel are apostolic witnesses and interpretations of the words and deeds of Jesus.
The acts of the Apostle were written by St. Luke. It contains the story of the missionary activity and growth of the early Church as well as the missionary journeys of St. Paul.
The Epistles of St. Paul were written to individuals and Churches in answer to particular problems. They give an insight into the gradual development of the theology of the new Testament.

The Catholic Epistles are called such because of their universal destination. They will not written to console the early Christians at a time when they are being persecuted. It tells of the ultimate victory of the Kingdom of God.

The New Testament contains the fullness of revelation that was brought by Jesus.

The word was made flesh and dwelt among us in the fullness of grace and truth''(John 1:14).
'' To these realities, the writings of the New Testament stand as a perpetual and divine witness''(Vat. 11, Revelation 17).

Sacred Scripture

Paul's teaching. You have followed closely my teaching and my conduct. You have observed my resolution, fidelity, patience, love and endurance through persecutions and sufferings.... You for your part must remain faithful to what you have learned and believed, because you know who your teachers were.

Likewise, from your infancy, you have known the sacred scriptures, the source of the wisdom which, through faith in Jesus Christ, leads to salvation.

Here guy's all scriptures is inspired of God and is useful for teaching for reproof, correction, and training in holiness so that the man of God maybe fully competent and equipped for every good work.

Let us go to our church teaching:

For Vatican 11, Divine Revelation( Dei Verbum), no. 9
These Sacred tradition and sacred scripture, then, are bound closely together, and communicate one with the other. for both of them ,flowing out from the same divine well-spring come together in some fashion to form one thing to move towards the same goal. Sacred scripture is the speech of God as it is put down in writing under the breath of the holy Spirit. And tradition transmits in its entirely the Word of God which has been entrusted to the Apostle by Christ the Lord and the Holy Spirit. It transmits it to the successors of the Apostle so that, enlightened by the Spirit of Truth, they may faithfully preserve, express and spread it abroad by their preaching. Thus it comes about that the Church does not draw her certainty about all revealed truths from the Holy Scriptures alone. Here, both Scripture and Tradition must be accepted and honored with equal feelings of devotion and reverence.

St. Justine

One day as Justine was talking with a group of learned men, questioning his life, his future the reason for the existence of the world itself, an old man in the group suddenly spoke up.'' Justine , you will find the answers to your questions in the Word of God ''.

''I know all the gods'', answered Justin.'' I know the Greek gods, the Roman Gods, the Indian gods, and even the Chinese gods, but not one of them offers the true answer I seek.''

''You do not know the God of Abraham , the God of Moses; you do not know the Son of God, Jesus Christ, '' said the older man .

'' Where shall I find this God of yours?'' Justin asked.
'' You must read the Word of God as set down in the Holy Bible. I shall let you read mine if you wish.''
Justin became a great student of the Holy Bible and was soon converted to Christianity. Here, indeed, he found the answers to all his questions. At last he know Why he was created and where He would go for all eternity.

suddenly Justin became a teacher. He traveled to many places . Everywhere He went, he argued with Pagans and others, convincing them of the true Christian doctrines.

At the time there was no freedom of religion in Rome. Justin fought against the persecution of Christians. But the emperor was afraid that the kingdom hailed by the Christians would have a king more powerful than He was. A time came when Justin was brought before the Emperor, accused unjustly, and condemned wrongly as a traitor to the state.

He was scourged as Jesus had been hundred years before. Then He was beheaded. His dying words ring out as true today as they did eighteen hundred years ago.'' We desire only one thing; to suffer torment for Jesus and thus attain happiness''.

The death of St. Justin 165 A.D. is remembered in the church calendar every year of June first. If Justin is your patron saint, look to him on that special day and be inspired by his greatness.
